I think the title is misleading. You all chose the Warpig over the Superpig, for carving?!?! And what about other carving boards in the Ride line up, such as the Peace Seeker?! You honestly all think the Warpig trumps a Peace Seeker, Super Pig or Mountain Pig, for carving?
OK I think they are confusing boards you can carve on (essentially all snowboards) with carving snowboards. Anyone who picks the Ride Warpig as a top carving board when that same brand has possibly the best resort carving board you can buy (the Peace Seeker) clearly has no clue what they are talking about. And why didn't we see any carving in this video? It's because these "experts" are nothing of the sort. Below average riders trying to become influencers. Move on folks. Nothing to see here.
So no Korua, no Amplid, no Ride Peace Seeker yeah okay, would love to see the list of boards you had access to as these boards are not dedicated carving boards
Amplid Dada has very limited sizing available, doesn't really count if you have a board that doesn't cater to the market. And it's been out of stock for a long time now. The peace seeker is not wide enough, for people who are on the lighter end of the weight spectrum with at least a us size 8 feet, you'll boot out doing euro carves.
@@clintstechtips6571 what a load of shit, shows you’ve no idea what you’re talking about, the Amplid boards dedicated to carving would be from the centrifugal series and not the future shapes series like the dada and if most serious people are carving they’re running +/+ angles and the Peace Seeker is more than capable regarding waist width.
@@aaronemmett3480 No need to start calling each other names over the internet because you disagree with my opinion. But for me, just because it's for you that a board works for carving doesn't necessarily mean it will work for me. Everyone rides different...I carve with a duck stance and have a us size 9.5 feet unfortunately which brings me by default to shorter boards with lower waist width so by default I'm stuck with volume shifted boards to get that extra foot width and the twinpig does it for me. What I've found is if you have the skills, you can carve any board. Ive got a $100 wedze board that I bought oversized to fit my foot and I can euro carve on it apart from icy conditions.
@@clintstechtips6571 who is talking about the dada when it come to carving ? the singlular and the unw8, the souly grail and the pentaquark are where it is at.
@@WAco-se9wf I agree, the UNW8 is a fantastic carving machine, but when I rode it, it's the kind of board that you ride at 10/10 all the way down the slope. It's fucking immense.
More like ' Top five boards for Skidded Turns ' 🤦♂️. You lot call yourselves experts !! Choosing a War Pig over the Peace Seeker as your dinky size 8 feet boot out on the Peace Seeker!! I've got size 12 feet ,and own a Peace Seeker. It's a full charging carving board for expert riders, which is probably why you muppets chose the War Pig. Please don't give people your advice on what board is suitable, leave that to the experts in the local snowboard shops 👍
Considering a board off marketplace. I should prob ride a 153 but it’s a 155. I’m in Pennsylvania and prob a lot of icy conditions out here. Not good powder. Def miss the powder of Utah and the big resorts. What would be the best board profile for icy conditions? And Pennsylvania and New York resorts. I love the surfy feel of a board but I feel a camber is best for icy.. I longboard skateboard so love the flow of snowboarding but not super amazing at speed control still and slowing down and or on straight aways. I held my own at snowbird and powder mountain with a few buddies that were more experienced tho. I’m more of an all mountain board tho. Could care less about park riding… I think maybe a camber underfoot and rocker between the bindings seems like it’ll be what I’m looking for
Wrong, the asymmetrical twinpig similar ish to the warpig is a great carving board. There's a Japanese guy if you search twinpig carving on youtube(170cm, 60kg)even with an oversized board of 156w he is ripping it. I have the twinpig and for the less premium price, the edges hold like it's on rails, and it's very playful and forgiving on chunder.
Five boards all daily riders, Not one of these would I buy as a dedicated carver for groomer or softer east coast days. This is just poor advice from the marketing team, Only carves I seen were the last board. I thought the soft boot carving game was growing, But I guess it’s not at Curated yet.. might have to take the sticker off my toolbox, I’m this video is shame.

So a counter rotating skidded turn is now classified as carving….makes sense as everyone says they carving these days
They all skipped leg day
This is hilarious, totally agree. Eurocarving...

I havent seen a single good carving turn in the video 😂
k2 excavator hype is real
The stratos at high speeds on choppy mid day snow is horrendous. It rips on days where the snow is great though. very fun in pow
She makes those colors pop..🔷
I love you Sydney Johnson
you should review the nitro pantera
There's only like 1000 boards better for carving then the warpig...in my opinion.
i like my warpig a lot (its a do all, board but with limits) but for carving i love my korua TF

Skidded turns de facto duck angles.
I feel you’ve missed the mark when it comes to carving boards.
Which is ?
Legend says that not a single carves was made during the filming of this.😂😂

More like marketing jargon experts, am I right?
These are not carving boards - and the riders are not even trying to cave. Such a bad review
Every board in this category is not meant for carving btw.

Have you ever ridden an excavator? It rails turns as good as anything on perfect groomers but whatever you say.
@@ElValuador lmao
@@clintstechtips6571 Likewise twinpig.
I wish they showed some higher speed carves.
Amanda is my Curated expert and she's awesome!
I can't trust anyone that loves a Never Summer.
I see he talked about float on snow and I stopped the video. I thought we're talking about carving.....
yeah but lib just dropped the rig and that thing out paces the dynamo. Most of these boards are free ride/ powder
Utter garbage..... True carving boards are extremely specific. Not one mention of a large sidecut.
Im surprised capita bsod is not listed there hm
